Boater’s Alert! $100 a Month Dockage With This Bayfront Condo
I recently wrote about my favorite small condominium in Coconut Grove at 1600 S. Bayshore Lane. I mentioned at that time that I would be listing a one bedroom apartment there soon, and it is now on the market.

1600 South Bayshore Lane Condos in the north Grove is a nine-story building with only 32 units, four per floor. There is rarely anything for sale here as owners tend to hang on to them. The apartment I am selling is 8-D, one floor below the penthouse level, and has a spectacular view across the bay, even though it is on the northwest corner of the building. In fact, every unit there has a great view!

The Renovation of an Older Center Grove Townhouse Makes It Totally 2010!
I was previewing new listings the other day and stopped in to see a new Coldwell-Banker listing at Gemini VII on Bird Avenue and McDonald Street. This is an older development built in 1979 with a pool and small community garden and over the years I’ve seen most of the 16 units.

This one at 3174 Bird Avenue is located in the back part, which is to me the better location since it doesn’t face the parking lot. I was amazed at the thoughtful renovation this owner did on the place and felt it needed some more exposure!
