Miami Real Estate... A World All Its Own

Coconut Grove

Scotty's Landing Restaurant with Grove Hill Condos and Grovenor House in the BackgroundCoconut Grove is a village nestled between downtown Miami and Coral Gables along Biscayne Bay.  Originally home to some of the earliest settlers, it has attracted artists, inventors, authors, musicians and escapees from the frigid north, and has always been one of the most desirable places to live  in Miami.

It vibrates with a character all its own. Tree-lined streets, many without sidewalks to this day, lead down to one of the world’s most beautiful sailing bays. Known for its tremendous canopy of lush trees, the Grove is a walking and biking paradise. The idea of cookie-cutter homes, or residents, is not something you’ll find here.

Aside from some of the magnificent estates that still stand today, the majority of the original bungalow houses have been replaced over the years by upscale single family homes, and luxurious condominiums along South Bayshore Lane.

The zany energy and charm of Coconut Grove lives on despite the many changes, and it remains one of the most desirable places to live in all of Miami.
